The so-called "Klangschiff" (boat of sound) "Im Augenblick", constructed by the 'European Artist' Helmut Lutz is to be found on the shoreline of Friedrichshafen on Lake Constance. The ship was built as a form of embassador for peace, deriving the impetus for its construction from the Balkan war. Representing solidarity with Eastern Europe, the ship sailed the Danube, anchoring at Beuron, Ulm, Passau, Linz, Vienna, Bratislava, Budapest and finally in Mohacs, on the border to Serbia. An enormous wooden teardrop, inscribed with the message 'Europe weeps', was thrown overboard. With these references, the ship was shown in Sarajevo, Friedrichshafen twin city, in the year 2000. At the end of this long journey, the  Klangschiff finally cast anchor in Lake Constance. The construction of steel and wood is 40 m. long and combines depictions of the Bull of Europe and the Urania.

Many concerts and performances are staged on the Klangschiff.
