"Whoever has visited Lake Constance and has experienced the uniqueness of this privileged countryside, they'll understand why the wines of this lakeside area are something very special".
The gigantic amount of water contained in Germany's largest inland lake acts as a reservoir for warmth, which equalises the differences in temperature between not only day and night, but also between Summer and Winter, thus creating a mild, almost Mediterranean climate. Apart from this, the surface of the water reflects part of the energy of the sunlight onto the nearby vinyards and warms the soil further. Thus the sensitive and warmth-loving vines are able to flourish in an altitude between 400 m. and 530 m. above sea level - and that to a particularly high degree of quality! Allow the region around Lake Constance to inspire you!
