Hiking at Lake Constance

Inhalt-Mittlere-Spalte

Over stick and stone

With walking boots and a hiking stick, you'll be well equipped for the limitless opportunities on offer in the walkers paradise around Lake Constance. Friedrichshafen is particularly well suited as a starting point. All of the walkers' routes have been newly signposted during the last few years. All of the hiking routes have been consolidated to form a close-knit, uniform network, spanning the whole of the area and bonded by the orange/yellow signposts and display boards which have been positioned at all important starting points.
Allow yourself to be directed by the yellow arrows and decide for yourself along the way whether you wish to alter your route, shorten it or lengthen it.

Guided walking tours

By the Schwäbische Albverein (hiking association). Getting to and from the hiking destinations by public transport. The duration of each walk ist approx. two hours. Without reservation. Meeting point: Friedrichshafen main station. Dates: May to September, every 2nd Wednesday. You can obtain the annual programme from Tourist-Information or Schwäbischer Albverein.
