Guided Tour of the Zeppelin Town and the Zeppelin Hangar

With our combined ticket offer you can also avail of our recommended City Tour and the Zeppelin Hangar Tour at a discounted rate. After the City Tour you can take the bus number 5 at 11.58am to the Zeppelin hangar from the Hafenbahnhof (harbour station) located just behind the Zeppelin Museum. Bus ticket not included.

Guided Tour of the Zeppelin Town

For individual travellers in English.
Experience Friedrichshafen’s sights on a 75-minute walk which will take you past the historic bridge and onto Friedrichhafen’s landmark, the baroque Schlosskirche. You will then walk along the beautiful promenade with its unique lake and alpine views to the Zeppelin Museum where you will find the world’s largest exhibition on airship travel – guests pay their own entry fee. No reservation required.

Zeppelin NT - Guided Hangar Tour for individual travellers

You will have the opportunity to get to know all about the construction of the Zeppelin NT and visit the Hangar. Find out about the semi-rigid airship, its construction, its unique flight qualities and its applications.

Historic time-travel by bicycle

For indiviual travellers only.
The approx. 2-hour tour takes you to the landmark of the city of Friedrichshafen, the Baroque Palace Church and further to the former Flakkaserne, now the headquarters of the Cooperative State University and Zeppelin University. Passing apple orchards, you reach the highest point, the church in Berg, with a beautiful view. The return journey takes you to the landmarked Zeppelin village and through the Riedle forest back to the Tourist Information. No reservation required. Only in German.

Airport Tour

Our Airport Tour shows you how an airport operates. You can watch how the aeroplanes are cleared and you are taken by bus over the runway. Then you visit the airport fire-fighters and their fire trucks to name a few of the interesting things you will do. Reservation required.
